My name is Dr. Renee Dufault. I am considering running for President of the United States of America in 2020. After many years working as a child health advocate, toxicologist, public health researcher and educator, I believe our nation is on the wrong path. If we continue as we are, then our children and future generations will suffer extreme hardships. Please review my CV and credentials below and let me know your thoughts via survey. I humbly ask for your opinion on whether or not I should run for President and whether or not we need to add an amendment to the Constitution to protect child health. Please scroll down and take the two question survey at the end of the page. Thank you for your time and consideration.
Public School Teacher (credentialed in science and special education)
Medical Researcher (with medical journal publications on autism, ADHD, and Type-2 diabetes)
Tribal College Instructor (ten years)
In addition to serving in the military immediately after the Vietnam War ended and during the first Gulf War, I have worked for the National Institutes of Health (NIH), Environmental Protection Agency (EPA), Food and Drug Administration (FDA), Shoshone-Paiute Tribes, Public and Private Schools. I collaborated with researchers at the Armed Forces Radiobiology Research Institute. I understand how government and academic institutions work. Since my retirement from the Public Health Service (PHS) in 2008, I have worked at the community level as an educator and researcher.
I see the problems American families face every day and feel strongly that I can work with Congress and U.S. government agencies to make the difference required to save our childrens' future.
